Are You Having Trouble with Callouses and Dry Feet?

Now you can exfoliate, restore and moisturize your feet with Kera-42 Cream.  Dry, cracked heels is a condition created when the skin around the rim of the heel has lost its ability to function in a healthy manner.  The heel is one of the major weight-bearing parts of your foot.  If the skin surrounding the heel gets too dry, it can become stressed, developing thick calluses around the heels outer edge and may crack.  Those cracks, known as fissures, can cause pain and lead to more serious complications.

Wearing thin-soled or open backed shoes can be one cause as with the way you walk or standing for long periods.  Diabetes and an under active thyroid can also contribute to skin dryness, as well as aging and being overweight.  The more a person weighs increases the level of stress to the heel pad.

An effective treatment program will include washing your feet regularly to help keep them clean and infection-free.  Moisturizing them morning and night to hydrate and restore softness.  It is also a good idea to exfoliate dry skin cells before you moisturize using a pumice stone.  Never try to cut or remove calluses from your feet.  Excessive skin removal should only be performed by our podiatrist at Pueblo Ankle and Foot Care.  However, you need not be a patient to purchase Kera-42 Cream.
